Education System in Poland
HEIs or higher education institutes in Poland are defined as HEIs (uczelnia akademicka) and non-university HEIs (uczelnia zawodowa)
Universities, private independent colleges and institutes of technology constitutes higher education system in Poland. They are authorized to confer Doctoral degrees, Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree upon successful completion of respective programs.
A well-planned, tried & tested and effective instruction framework forms backbone of these institutes of global academic excellence.
There are two study intakes offered by Polish HEIs.
Academic intakes
Winter intake:
Starting in September / October, colleges and universities in Poland accept admission applications for a vast number of study programs during this primary intake. Being a more popular study intake, students are expected to start application process 6-8 months in advance.
Summer intake:
This is a secondary intake offering programs in various disciplines. This is also a popular intake for students aspiring to pursue higher education in Poland.
Colleges and universities start accepting applications for summer intake in the month of February – March. Students would be well-advised to start application process 6-8 months in advance for this intake as well.
