Who Manages PTE & What Tests Does It Include?
PTE is managed by Pearson PLC Group. It is a highly popular and accepted English language proficiency test.
Similar to TOEFL, the test format measures applicant’s four essential elements, i.e. Listening Reading, Writing, Speaking.
The PTE exam syllabus was updated in 2023 and students who wish to consider it for English Language Proficiency Test must know about it. The test consists of 4 modules i.e., Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and it is an integrated test.
Test Formats & Results:
Assessment of PTE test is done on score between 10 – 90. Anything above 65 is considered a good score and it is accepted by most top international study destinations. The result of PTE test is valid for two years.
Test Durations
Total duration of the test is 2 hours 15 mins.
Speaking & Writing – 54 – 67 Minutes
Reading – 29 – 30 Minutes
Listening – 30 – 43 Minutes

Anu brings in the knowledge of teaching and tips & tricks needed to crack the IELTS examination. She has a rich tutoring experience of 7 years. She is also a TESOL/ TEFL certified teacher.
Anu began her career as a journalist and later switched to teaching after realizing that she could help students in communication and interpersonal skills. She has worked with reputed schools and media organizations since 2011.
