USA is a large and diverse country – much like India. Of course, the Americans are culturally different from us on many aspects, there is however one common and binding value to their personality – pride.
While many Americans are critical about their political and social issues, like Indians, they are very proud of their country. Indian students can expect frank and boisterous demeanor from the locals. The Americans appreciate people who can speak their mind, who are confident and can banter positively with others.
Being a vast country, the culture and outlook could differ from one state to another. Each region would have its own norm, its own values. All in all, the United States of America is a great place to study, socialize and settle. But remember, it would demand great efforts from you too.
